Dec 24 Sunday – Christmas in Aiken Day 4 – Christmas Eve

Slept well all nite in bed, albeit too warm for both of us. We opened a window but it didn’t help much. Oh well, we got enough sleep. It was a leisurely get up Sunday morning. Coffee. Must have coffee.

David made gluten free popovers for breakfast at 9am, then we hit the road for church at 1010. Sunday morning service was very nice, but it wasn’t full up like you might expect for Christmas.

We didn’t go out to lunch like most people do there after church on Sunday. We came home, and had chicken salad. More relaxing in the afternoon. Around 330, Karen & I went for a 45 minute walk. It was mid 60’s so comfortable. I was in shorts and a light jacket.

Supper was grilled cheese and tomato soup, then we hit the road back to church for Christmas Eve service. Again, very nice service but not at all full. Met some nice people, all of which said how much they love K&D and how much they contribute as members. Quite the praise.
