Everybody went to bed last night by 930 except me. I kept watching youtube videos until 1130. But we both slept well all night in bed and it was cooler with the window open. I got up about 0700. Coffee. Must have coffee.
David made Dutch Puff for breakfast this morning, but not until everybody was up, and that was around 930-10 by the time he got back from his jogging. It tasted especially good with coffee. Once dishes were cleaned up, it was time to open presents in the front room. The cats got equal enjoyment playing with ribbons and paper as we had opening gifts. It was fun.
When we were done we phoned Mary with Christmas greetings, then cleaned up a bit.

Then Karen got busy preparing xmas dinner roast which we ate about 3pm. Dessert was delayed until 6pm as we all were full. Rick washed up dishes just like dad would have. In between everything else it was pure relaxation.
