Heading home

This being Saturday, we slept in a bit then after breadfast went into Aiken for their annual “Aiken’s Makin’ ” celebration, which is really just your average community arts & crafts fair. Lots of food concessions too. A lot of people come to this, and parking is hard to find, but we were there early. Enjoyed deepfried Onion with a garlic ranch sauce, “Billy Bobs” rootbeer in tin cans, and a corndog. Karen & I both bought something unique to take home.

Drove down the “most photographed street in the country” according to Doris the realtor. One thats lined with huge old oak trees on both sides.

“oak” street

Heading to the Agusta airport shortly, transfer in Atlanta, then home between 9 & 10 tonight.
