Today is Friday the 24th. I went into work from 7am to 10am, took care of a few things that needed looking after, then went home. Wendy has Fri Sat Sun off, so we packed up the car and headed up to Camano. Carolyn’s official wedding reception is Saturday evening, so we’ll have a long weekend up there.
We stopped at the Arlington airport restaurant for lunch, but they are closed up, have been for awhile. There is a Snohomish website that shows the restaurant is still open, but it apparently hasn’t been updated. So we continued our way to Stanwood and had lunch there before arriving at Moms.
We got to Moms about 1:30 and I went straight to work with my weedwacker in the “back forty”. Went thru two tanks of fuel, and ran out of gas. But I got the job done. It was time for dinner anyway, so I cleaned up and came in. Tomorrow, I need to go get gas and mow the lawn. In the afternoon, we need to get our costumes ready for the party which goes from 6-10p. Wendy has her mom, me, and herself dressing up as scarecrows. We’ll see how it turns out. More to follow on Sunday, with pictures!
